Hello, fellow ghee lovers! We are deep into the throes of fall, and for us at 4th & Heart, that also means that we’re fully into baking season. With the cooler weather rolling in, we’re baking around the clock: quick breads, seasonal pies, cakes and muffins, and they are filling the air with their fresh baked smell, and we simply can’t get enough! We wanted to point a spotlight on a newer member of the 4th & Heart lineup—our ghee spray—and why you should be using it religiously as you bake! Enjoy, and happy baking!
It contains the perfect blend of cooking fats
Because ghee is mostly solid (and spreadable!) at room temperature, we blended our ghee spray with the perfect balance of avocado oil and grapeseed oil to maintain maximum fluidity for spraying. These other two cooking oils are flavorless, so they allow the buttery taste you know and love to shine through while coating your pans with the ideal amount of cooking spray.
It has a 485 degree smoke point
Like all of our other ghee products, 4th & Heart ghee spray has a smoke point of 485 degrees, so you can use it just like our regular ghee! This is a much higher smoke point than olive oil, coconut oil, sesame oil, and other oils, so you can cook longer (and hotter!) without worrying about any of the ghee spray burning.
It is a naturally occurring source of butyric acid
If it didn’t taste great, we wouldn’t sell it! Our ghee spray still contains that delicious, buttery flavor that you all love so much. Our nozzle sprays the ideal amount of ghee spray all over the surface of whatever you’re coating quickly and evenly, covering your cooking appliances with the perfect base layer to cook and bake to your heart’s content. If you don’t believe us, grab some 4th & Heart ghee spray, and try it out for yourself!
