Today we have a quick, easy and healthy dessert for you to take advantage of pear season - Baked Ginger Pears!

Baked Ginger Pears

  • 8 pears (halved)
  • 2 tablespoons Vanilla Bean Ghee 
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F
  2. Place the halved pears in a large roasting pan
  3. In a small bowl, melt and mix together the Vanilla Bean Ghee, lemon juice, ginger, cinnamon and salt. Pour the mixture over the carrots and toss to coat.
  4. Turn the pear halves cut side up and roast for 30-40 minutes, until softened and slightly browned. Note that the roasting time will vary depending on the size of the carrots.
  5. Serve warm, drizzled with the pan juices.
