Baked Matcha Donuts

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a healthy, green treat! Flavored with matcha powder, these delicious baked donuts are gluten-free, refined-sugar-free, and lactose-free so you can indulge without regret. 

Matcha Baked Donuts with 4th & Heart Ghee

Donut Ingredients:

Glaze Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp coconut butter, melted lightly
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp matcha powder
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla


  1. In a small bowl, melt the ghee for about 20-30 seconds in the microwave. Let cool. 
  2. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. 
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the wet ingredients. 
  4. Add the wet to dry and mix till just combined. 
  5. Spray a donut pan/silicone donut mold with ghee oil spray. Fill each donut mold and smooth top. 
  6. Bake at 350º F for about 12 minutes. Let cool. 
  7. Carefully flip the donuts out, placing them on a drying rack to cool further, flat side down.
  8. Stir together glaze ingredients until smooth. Dip the rounded top of donuts into glaze. Chill in the fridge for 10 minutes to let the glaze harden slightly. Enjoy!
