Immunity-Boosting Waffles
These Immunity-Boosting Waffles are perfect for #wafflewednesday, or any day of the week where you want a delicious breakfast loaded with health benefits!
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1 cup all-purpose flour or you can sub in all-purpose gluten-free flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- 3 tbsp 4th & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ cup freeze-dried raspberries
- a squeeze of fresh orange juice
- orange zest
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly and fold in the freeze-dried raspberries and orange zest + juice last
- Transfer to heated and greased waffle iron (Pro Tip: Use 4th & Heart Ghee Oil Spray to make any surface non-stick in a matter of seconds!)
- Once done, remove and top with vanilla greek yogurt and more zest, or whatever sounds good to you! Enjoy!
