Immunity-Boosting Waffles


These Immunity-Boosting Waffles are perfect for #wafflewednesday, or any day of the week where you want a delicious breakfast loaded with health benefits! 

Immunity-Boosting Waffles topped with greek yogurt and freeze-dried raspberries

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or you can sub in all-purpose gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 3 tbsp 4th & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup freeze-dried raspberries
  • a squeeze of fresh orange juice
  • orange zest

Directions: 

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and fold in the freeze-dried raspberries and orange zest + juice last
  2. Transfer to heated and greased waffle iron (Pro Tip: Use 4th & Heart Ghee Oil Spray to make any surface non-stick in a matter of seconds!)
  3. Once done, remove and top with vanilla greek yogurt and more zest, or whatever sounds good to you! Enjoy!
