Caprese Toast

What You’ll Need:
- 1 slice of sourdough bread
- 1 Tbsp 4th & Heart Garlic Ghee
- 1/3 cup of cherry tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 mozzarella ball (8oz)
- 1/3 cup of fresh basil (torn or cut into pieces)
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat.
- Spread ghee evenly on both sides of the sourdough bread and toast the bread on both sides until golden and crispy – about 2 minutes per side.
- While toasting, slice cherry tomatoes in half and season with salt and pepper, then slice mozzarella into rounds.
- Once the bread is toasty, remove it from the skillet and layer pieces of mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil on top of the sourdough.
- Drizzle with balsamic vinegar (optional) and enjoy!
