Creamy Whipped Ricotta

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 (16 oz) tub of whole milk ricotta, brought to room temperature
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp finely minced herbs (e.g., thyme, rosemary, parsley, or your choice)
  • 1 ½ Tbsp 4th & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee, melted
  • Big pinch of salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by mincing your fresh herbs and melting your ghee.
  2. Add all ingredients to a bowl and use a hand mixer to blend until it starts to form a whipped texture, typically 1-2 minutes.
  3. Spread onto a plate and garnish with fresh herbs, pine nuts, lemon twist, or red pepper flakes and enjoy!
