What You’ll Need:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, cut into six equal squares
- 6 tbsp honey
- 2-3 pears, sliced the long way into ¼” slices
- 1 tbsp 4th & Heart Vanilla Ghee
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Slice the pears into even ¼” slices.
- Drizzle 1 tbsp of honey on 6 evenly spaced sections of a parchment or Silpat-lined baking sheet.
- Place 4-6 slices of pear on each drizzle of honey.
- Cover each set of pears with a puff pastry square. If the pastry square is too small to fully cover the pears, roll lightly with a rolling pin to increase to the desired size.
- Press the puff pastry to seal the edges, then crimp with a fork.
- Melt vanilla ghee and mix with 1 egg. Brush the egg wash over each puff pastry.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until puff pastry is golden brown.
- Let cool for 15 minutes, use a spatula to flip pastries over, showcasing the pears. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve!
