Vanilla Bean Ghee Coffee

Ingredients
freshly brewed coffee, 4th & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee

Directions
Pour freshly brewed coffee into a blender and add 1 tsp of ghee. Blend until frothy and serve in your favorite mug!


Cinnamon Vanilla Cranberry Muffins

Ingredients
1/2 cup gluten-free AP flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, 3/4 tsp baking powder, 1/8 tsp baking soda, 1/4 cup 4th & Heart Ghee Oil, 1 egg, 3 Tbsp coconut sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 cup vanilla greek yogurt, 1 pinch sea salt, 1/2 cup fresh cranberries, 3 Tbsp 4th & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee for the streusel, 1 Tbsp coconut sugar for the streusel, 1 Tbsp gluten-free flour for the streusel, 1/4 tsp cinnamon for the streusel

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375ºF, then line a cupcake pan with 6 liners. Combine the wet ingredients in a bowl and stir. In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients. Add the dry ingredients into the wet, then mix. Scoop the batter evenly into each cupcake liner. For the streusel, combine all ingredients until clumpy, and top each muffin with crumbles. Bake for around 18 - 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. 

Your New Favorite Oatmeal

Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats, 2 cup unsweetened alternative milk of choice, 1 medium ripe banana, mashed, 1 tsp 4th & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 tsp unflavored collagen powder, pinch of flaky salt on top

Directions
Combine all ingredients into a small saucepan and turn heat to medium high. Bring to a simmer then turn the heat down to medium low and stir continuously for around 3 - 5 minutes as the oatmeal cooks and thickens. Once oatmeal is at the desired consistency, remove from heat, and serve immediately. Top with fresh fruit if desired, and enjoy!

Caprese Toast

Ingredients
1 slice of sourdough bread, 1 Tbsp 4th & Heart Himalayan Pink Salt Ghee, 1/3 cup of cherry tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste, 1 mozzarella ball, fresh basil (torn or cut into pieces), 1 tsp balsamic vinegar (optional)

Directions
Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat. Spread ghee evenly on both sides of the sourdough bread and toast the bread on both sides until golden and crispy – about 2 minutes per side. While toasting, slice cherry tomatoes in half and season with salt and pepper, then slice mozzarella into rounds. Once the bread is toasty, remove it from the skillet and layer pieces of mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil atop the sourdough. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired and enjoy!

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds With Ghee

Ingredients
pumpkin seeds, onion powder, black pepper, sea salt, dried parsley, granulated garlic, nutritional yeast, 4th & Heart Ghee

Directions
Thoroughly wash your pumpkin seeds with water and drain through a colander. Dry them as much as you can (you can even spread them out onto a baking sheet and let dry overnight). Melt 2 Tbsp of ghee and pour over seeds onto the baking sheet. Note: There may be some strands of pumpkin you weren't able to get off of the seeds. These little pieces bake along with the seeds and become crunchy and full of flavor. Roast at 350ºF for about an hour. Toss them around every 10 minutes or so to ensure they are baking evenly and re-season with nutritional yeast, more garlic, and another drizzle of ghee. Finish with a heavy sprinkle of sea salt when they are done, and enjoy!

Rosemary & Parmesan Garlic Ghee Potatoes

Ingredients
1 pound baby potatoes, 1 Tbsp 4th & Heart Garlic Ghee, 1 sprig fresh rosemary, 1 minced garlic clove, 1/2 lemon, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper

Directions
Preheat your oven to 425ºF. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Once boiling add a pinch of salt and the potatoes. Cook for 10 minutes then strain them. Cut potatoes in half, add them to a mixing bowl. Melt 1 Tbsp of ghee in the microwave for 10 seconds. Drizzle ghee over potatoes, then add a little salt, pepper, minced garlic, lemon juice and a few chopped pieces of rosemary. Mix well. Add potatoes to a cast iron skillet or baking sheet. Roast in the oven for 20 minutes then broil for 2 minutes. Once the potatoes are golden brown, remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parmesan cheese and a pinch of salt and pepper before digging in!

Perfect Roast Chicken With Lemon & Garlic

Ingredients
1 whole chicken (pat dry)⁠, kosher salt , pepper⁠, 1 lemon (quartered)⁠, 1 garlic head (halved lengthwise)⁠, 1/2 cup 4th & Heart Ghee Oil⁠

Directions
Preheat oven to 425ºF⁠. Season every surface of the chicken with liberal amounts of salt and pepper⁠. Transfer chicken breast side up to a large oven-safe skillet or roasting pan. Arrange the lemon quarters and garlic cut sides down in the skillet around the chicken.⁠ Drizzle ghee oil all over the chicken and transfer to the oven.⁠ Roast until chicken is nicely browned and cooked through, checking for doneness after 45 minutes. Once done, let the chicken rest for ~15 - 25 minutes before carving and serving. Pro Tip: Add a bit of chicken or vegetable stock to the bottom of the pan once you remove the chicken to rest, and whisk to make a delicious gravy out of the pan drippings!

Honey Mustard Vinaigrette

Ingredients
1/4 cup 4th & Heart Ghee Oil (or melted ghee), 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 1/4 cup dijon mustard, 1/4 cup honey, juice of 1/2 a lime, 1 tsp salt

Directions
Whisk ingredients together in a small bowl, then dress your greens and enjoy! Pro Tip: This dressing could also be used as a marinade for chicken, steak, or shrimp!

Perfect One Pan Salmon

Ingredients
1 large piece of salmon, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 Tbsp 4th & Heart Ghee, 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, 1 bunch of asparagus, 1 lemon

Directions
Add salmon to a 9x13 baking dish and spread a thin layer of ghee atop the salmon with a butter knife or rubber spatula. Season the salmon with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the cherry tomatoes and asparagus around the salmon. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze juice over the whole dish. Cook in the oven at 375ºF for 10 - 12 minutes until it's cooked to your liking.

Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
2 1/4 cups AP flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 12 Tbsp (or 3/4 cup) 4th & Heart Ghee, 3/4 cup packed brown sugar, 2/3 cup granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, 1 tsp pure vanilla extract, 1 12-oz bag dark chocolate chips

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375ºF, then line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Beat the ghee and both sugars with an electric mixer in a second large bowl until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Add the eggs to the ghee and sugar mixture, one at a time, beating after each addition to incorporate; then beat in the vanilla. Slowly add the flour mixture, and beat until just incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Scoop 12 heaping tablespoons of dough onto each prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake until the cookies are golden but still soft in the center for about 12 to 15 minutes. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets, then transfer them to a rack to cool completely and enjoy!

Chocolate Ghee Superfood Power Balls

Ingredients
1 cup almond flour, 1/3 cup hemp heart seeds, 1/4 cup 4th & Heart Ghee, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/4 cup chocolate chips, 1 Tbsp 4th & Heart Ghee

Directions
Add almond flour, hemp hearts, 1/4 cup of melted ghee, and maple syrup to a medium bowl and stir until combined. Take a spoonful of the mixture and roll it into a small ball in your hand. Repeat. In a separate bowl, mix 1 Tbsp ghee with chocolate chips and microwave it for ~5 seconds or until melted. Drizzle the ghee and chocolate mixture over the Power Balls and let set for 10 minutes until chocolate has cooled to the touch. 

Nourishing Avocado & Ghee Hair Mask

Ingredients
1/4 cup 4th & Heart Ghee, 1/2 avocado, 1 sprig of rosemary, 6 drops lavender essential oil

Directions
In a medium bowl, smash the avocado with a fork until smooth. Add melted ghee, lavender essential oil, and rosemary sprig. Let the mask sit for 1 hour. Before showering, apply the mask from roots to ends and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Shampoo as usual.
